I designed a logo for Campus Life's SOLAR program, as well - Student Organization Learning and Resources. Here is the final logo, a promotional poster, and 1/4 sheet ads to go in table inserts on the first floor of the EMU Student Center. The font used for the "SOLAR" type was hand-drawn by me with the Illustrator brush tool, as was the sun image.
